Purpose
To provide students across all health professions schools with an opportunity for academic distinction and educational enrichment, developed within an interprofessional framework, guided by dedicated faculty, and supported centrally by the Office of Student Affairs.
Pillars
Reading Room
To broaden their perspectives and encourage critical thinking, students will read and reflect on the professional and ethical dimensions of healthcare practice and research, and actively participate in faculty-facilitated discussions.
Community Engagement
To deepen their understanding of societal health challenges and develop their leadership and advocacy skills, students will actively engage with their local community through service activities.
Well-being
To promote well-being, foster resilience, and prevent burnout, students will complete assessments, coursework, and well-being activities.
Capstone
To encourage and display their ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and propose thoughtful solutions, students will complete a Capstone Project.
